What Rough Beast | Poem for April 25, 2018

Zoe Canner
laugh at men

sessions
can’t
take being

laughed at

let’s
never
refrain from

laughing
out
of respect

again
because
you have

to earn

respect and
well
sessions

let’s say
his
name
say it
with
me

alton sterling
murdered on

video
and
the officers

got off

hope is
a pipe

dream
despair
is sensible
