Robert Carr

Robert Carr is the author of  The Unbuttoned Eye (3: A Taos Press, 2019) and Amaranth (Indolent Books, 2016). His poems have appeared in the Bellevue Literary Review, Crab Orchard Review, Tar River Poetry, Rattle, Massachusetts Review, Shenandoah, and other journals. Born in Annapolis, Md., and raised in New Hampshire, Carr holds a BA in Philosophy from Bates College in Lewiston, Me., and a MEd in counseling psychology from the University of Massachusetts. Until his retirement, Carr was deputy director at the Bureau of Infectious Disease and Laboratory Sciences at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
