A poem-a-day protest against the threat posed to our democracy by the current occupant of the White House
Dear Readers,
There comes a time in the life of all Michael Broder-edited poem-a-day series when life intervenes and a day gets missed. Today you will received two poems in two separate emails spaced a bit apart, one with the daily poem for May 18, the other with the daily poem for May 19.
It’s a little like the 1960s TV show F Troop, where free lunch at the saloon cost five cents.
